WebbWireless slow after provider change and upgrade. I decided to upgrade to 1g fiber internet. I previously had 500mb cable. I have a NetGear NightHawk R8000 router. I was getting decent speeds on my cable from my wireless device 400ish MB. Now that i have moved over to fiber i get 34mb from every wireless device on my network. Other than that unless you have some QOS setup the two should work fine together, I am assuming wifi signal strength is good throughout the time (I.e. when internet is working fine and when its slow).
