Web30 May 2024 · Yes, manually configuring a timer in the Alarms & Clock app works as it should. It is only the timer Cortana creates in the app that fails to start correctly. Further testing has teased out some more odd details. If I tell Cortana to start a timer for less than 36 seconds it still creates a bugged timer but it does not trigger the notification. I tried setting the date and time to manual - it made no difference. Even after a reboot - Cortana still uses GST time instead of Mountain Time (GMT or UTC -7:00)
