The problem is when I remove the old vanes that are glued on with Lord knows what, I can't get the glue residue off. I've tried the old razor blade routine which works on every other arrow I've done but on these the razor blade cuts into the camo finish and leaves it pitted.

WebI use acetone to remove any remaining bits of glue from the shaft, works great. I don't know if it will work on the vanes or that acetone would dissolve them. For removing the glue off the arrows, a sharp knife works well. I like these hooked carpet blades that go into stanley knives that I keep in my bow bag.
