WebHere's my advice to anyone who gets a lateral meniscus bucket handle tear and wishes to keep training BJJ seriously, do NOT get the repair. The surgeons will try to talk you into the repair, but they don't do or understand the stress that BJJ puts on your knee. Even tearing it the 2nd time, the 1st surgeon I saw wouldn't do the meniscectomy.
